The Center’s Life

The Center’s Life

Adderall Abuse Recovery Center of Huntsville, Alabama treats more than the physical aspects of Adderall addiction.

Our programs are designed in a way that instills values, which makes a client’s post-therapy life more productive.

Our Residential and outpatient programs ensure that patients have ample time and resources to work through the emotional, spiritual and family issues that led to Adderall abuse.

Take a look at the activities that fill a client’s life while at Adderall Abuse Recovery Center of Huntsville, Alabama.

  • Individual Therapy

These sessions between the client and the therapist offer a safe, supportive environment to explore deep issues in the client’s life.

Through exploration, the client is equipped with tools that enable them to deal with anxieties and other daily stressors.

  • Specialized Sessions

These are tailored for anger management and stress management. The client could go through a guided meditation to help them cope with stressful situations and enjoy peace of mind and soul.

These sessions are scheduled on a need basis.

  • Group Therapy

These are enriching sessions as clients share their daily struggles. Participants tell their stories in a supportive environment that allows for emotional healing.

Through group therapy, clients develop deep empathy for each other’s struggles.

During group therapy sessions, our alumni members share their experiences with Adderall addiction. Sometimes we invite speakers from outside to share on the dangers of Adderall addiction or to lead our Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings.

The NA meetings usually take an hour. They are not compulsory but those not attending are expected to have quiet times in their rooms.

  • Family Therapy Sessions

Family therapy sessions are critical not just for recovery but for relapse prevention. Since addiction affects entire families, family therapy brings together members of the addict’s family where issues are resolved.

Issues of co-dependency, enabling behavior, anger and resentment are explored in a safe environment guided by the addict’s therapist.

  • Recreational Activities

The weekends are free from individual and group therapies. Clients engage in recreational activities at the center or off-site.

Activities range from family day events, baseball and basketball tournaments, ice hockey, choir workshops among others.

  • Volunteer Opportunities

Adderall Abuse Recovery Center of Huntsville, Alabama has terrific opportunities for volunteers. We require individuals who can help us in organizing and running educational workshops for teens and adults.

Literacy enrichment, resume writing, career consulting, college counseling and tutoring are some of the opportunities available for volunteers.

We value your help in decorating our facility for holiday celebrations or landscaping and beautification of our compound.

Join us and help make a difference to individuals and families recovering from Adderall addiction.
